Golf
The Club House consists of two floors with the following rooms, among others: dining room, bar, lounges and meeting rooms, bridge room, television room, ladies’ locker rooms and men’s locker rooms (with masseurs and podiatrists), sauna, two squash-racket courts, golf bag and golf cart lockers, terraces with a panoramic view of the courts and administration offices. The Club House also houses the Pro-Shop, where sports apparel and sporting goods can be purchased.
The Club-House rooms – with a capacity for 300 to 600 people – can be used by members for receptions or wedding parties. Fees, conditions and schedules for these services can be consulted at the administration office. Members may bring guests to the dining room and play with them on the golf courses, but in the latter case only from Tuesday to Friday.
The parking lot has a capacity for approximately 300 cars.
The Jockey Club Buenos Aires Golf Course is located at Avenida Márquez 1702, in the district of San Isidro. It occupies an eighty-hectare property and is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The two golf courses designed in 1930 by Allister Mackenzie have 18 holes each one and are called Azul (6,378 yards) and Colorada (6.577 yards). There is also a practice area (driving range), which is open from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Members and their families can receive specialized classes, through lessons given by golf professionals.
